Generation 3 (Part 3)
When we last left off…
Dennis and Leah broke off their marriage. Leah also gave birth to her second child, Bella.

With only one parent awake during the night, things don’t happen as quickly.

It doesn’t help that Bella is a collicky baby, and often cries every hour or so, even at night.

Max steps in as much as he can, but the elder couple sleep on the other side of the house. They often can’t hear the babies when they wake, unlike Leah. They have offered to move rooms, but Leah doesn’t want the babies to wake them.

While still on maternity leave, Leah gets as much teaching in as she can for Christian. I don’t know if teaching a toddler to walk by the stairs is such a hot idea, but whatever. x)

Even Meagan helps, but she dislikes kids. You can see it on her face.

Staying up through the night leaves Leah exhausted.

Bella doesn’t stop crying, even when Leah is up for hours with her in her arms.

…classic.

Bella (much to Leah’s misplaced relief) finally ages into a toddler. Little does Leah know that toddler’s are a lot more of a pain than newborns. But, Bella is adorable. She has her Dad’s hair and her Mom’s eyes, essentially opposite of Christian.

Christian and Bella play with Bella’s dollhouse.

Leah manages to escape one day to pick up some groceries, and runs into Dennis on the way. It is awkward at best. He compliments her, but she recoils.

Meagan is promoted to Superstar and achieves her LTW (it was changed from golddigger to superstar athlete using the “mid-life crisis” award.

So cute.

Leah’s bedroom is updated (so is Max and Meagan’s, I just didn’t take a picture).

Meagan teaches Christian how to talk. The kid is thoroughly bored.

Adult time.

“Good night, Bella.”

Finally, it is time for Leah’s first day of work. She panics, not wanting to be away from the babies. Max assures her that they will be fine.

Unfortunately, Leah’s first day also lies on Christian’s birthday. She misses the party, but Christian celebrates with his Grandma and Grandpa.

Interesting looking kid. Almost alien-like. Dad’s face and eyes with Mom’s hair.

Don’t worry, Christian. Your feet are on the ground.

Max is true to his word, and even starts teaching Bella how to walk while Leah is at work.
