Generation 3 (Part 1)
When we last left off…
Ellie aged into a young adult and moved out of the house. After her, Leah aged into a young adult. She was voted heiress for the third generation. Zoe is still in the house, but will move out once she ages to young adult as well.

A house update.

New indoor pool complete with clear glass windows overlooking the ocean. (I forgot Max was a hydrophobe and sent him in there… he immediately freaked out. LOL!)

Aaaand… Leah got an update/makeover, too!

Okay… back to the story. After Leah’s birthday, Dennis spends the night. They were dying from pent-up woo-hoo frustration during their teen years. x)

Yet, not 15 minutes after they’ve calmed down, Dennis leaves with hardly a goodbye. Leah is upset, but tries dearly to hide it.

A few months later, Leah feels sick to her stomach. She takes a pregnancy test and finds out she’s pregnant. Her former feeling of sickness is replaced with one of dread. Her and Dennis had not spoken since the night he left her.

Leah is too nervous to talk to Dennis, and she puts off months. When her belly starts to show she is surprised, but quickly finds love for her baby.

In between the drama, Meagan is promoted. It doesn’t seem like she enjoys her green Llama uniform, but she does earn a hefty raise and bonus.

FINALLY, maids are hired. That’s right. Plural. As in two. As in double the pay. As in WTF?!

Even the dead need to work out.

After some persuasion from Zoe, Leah finally calls Dennis. Their conversation is brief, and Dennis rushes over.

“This child cannot be mine!” Dennis exclaimed, glaring at Leah.
“But it is!” Leah countered, her eyes watering.
“I can’t, Leah. It’s impossible. And we’re too young. We’re only 18,” he growled, finally sighing. “I have to go. I’m sorry.”
“Dennis!” Leah called after him, running as fast as she could with her swollen belly.
He turned around, quick as lightening, facing her.
“Leah, I’m sorry. I can’t.”

Max and Meagan help Leah to cope, though she spends most time in bed, stomach ever-growing.

Every few weeks, Dennis would call with small words. Gradually, the calls turned longer and more passionate. One night, very late, Dennis runs up to the house, knocking fervently on the door.
“Dennis?” Leah answered the door with question, groggy and huge.
“Oh, Leah. I’m so sorry. So sorry,” Dennis blurted suddenly. Leah could see tears growing behind his eyes.

“I love you, you know that? I really do. I was just scared, and I left you. And I know I’ll never be able to repent for that, but, dammit, I’m going to try.” Dennis ran his thumb down her cheekbone, wiping away a tear Leah didn’t know had fallen. “Can you forgive me?” he asked quietly.
“Yes, oh, Dennis, yes,” Leah cried, wrapping her arms around his neck.
“Marry me,” he whispered.

Leah manages to tailor a wedding dress around her belly.

And then, one sunny day surrounded by friends and family outside the Bennet household, a wedding is thrown. Before the vows are exchanged, Dennis kneels down and cradles Leah’s belly. He kisses it, before standing and smiling at Leah.

“You may now kiss the bride.”

Who knew Michel was such a sap?!

That night, after all the raucous of the party died down, Dennis helps Leah up to their new bedroom. Just as she is about to step into bed, her water breaks and contractions begin in a flurry.
“This is painful!” Leah cries, clutching her stomach.

Dennis rushes over to her, still in his tux from the wedding, but he’s really no help at all. Even Max runs up to panic – his daughter was having her first baby!

After a few gruesome hours of contraction, baby boy Christian is born at home. (No hospitals for the Bennet family, if you haven’t noticed!) He is born with the trait loves the outdoors, and rolls easily impressed.
